In this post, we'll go over the details of the selectable ads feature and introduce some tips for making the best use of the different frame sizes.
About selectable ads
By selecting the best image for each frame size, you can improve the overall CTR for your image ad.

On the ad registration screen, designate which images you want to have displayed in the large and small frames. As long as you’ve prepared an image for the small frame, you can set separate images for each frame size.
*Note: The small image ad format is only delivered in small frames. It is different from the small frame images used for selectable ads.
See below for information on each frame type.
Large frames
Large frames are used on pages like the LINE TODAY screen and guarantee a certain degree of visibility, so it's easier to grab the attention of users.
Small frames
With small frames, visibility is lower compared to larger frames, so you can narrow down the details and text to create a more suitable ad for small spaces.
Next, let’s look at some tips for using each frame type.
Using selectable ads
Tips for making large-frame ads
Large-frame ads are highly visible and have more area to work with, so you can include a lot of information. Try advertising multiple products or adding a range of ad copy.

Tips for making ads using small frames
Compared to large-frame ads, smaller frames have less visibility because they have less advertising space. Try to limit the amount of information and display one key element as large as possible with minimal ad copy.

If you use the selectable ads feature wisely, you can improve your CTR by making creatives that are suitable for each frame type!
